Rheumatism and paralytic complaints. (Pains so severe as to make walking difficult, bruised sore feeling).
Tetanus with blueness of face during spasm.
Bone caries and ulcers.
Great desire for coffee.
Irritability like nux vom but nux is stubborn while angust is coward.
Belching with cough.
Chronic diarrhoea with emaciation.
Used after merc has been given but fails.
(Think of this remedy in a person who is coffee drinker and have couple of cups of it a day. The patient starts getting pains and stiffness in the joints which increases to the extent making him unable to walk properly. He feels weak with no power in the legs. You might notice some ulcers on the legs. The patient may also complain of sever spasms wherein his face might turn blue from pain. There might be a h/o weight loss from chronic diarrhoea not settling with any remedy. You may hear that he has become irritable recently and is not like himself. He may feel weak inside, backing down in situations where he earlier held his ground. You may think of RUTA or MERC for him. Think of ANGUSTURA VERA too when you think of these remedies.)
