(Think of a person with bronchitis, he coughs and there is a lot of rattling in the chest. The person sleeps and gets apnoea, which makes him get up as if he choked, so he fears sleeping. GRINDELIA comes near LACHESIS in this respect. It also has ulcers that burn like latter. The patient has some heart condition, probably CCF, he finds it difficult to breathe or he has associated gastric symptoms which causes GERD and precipitates asthma/ dyspnoea. Such patients need GRINDELIA. It is also used as an antidote to RHUS TOX poisoning locally and also helps in burns.)

{Think of a person who after exposure to cold damp weather develops joint pains and cough, you are thinking of RHUS TOX but there is no thirst. The patient feels too sleepy, so you think of ANT TART, but the rattling is not of such a severe character as that of ANT TART.

You find that the temperament is like PULS, changeability, very sensitive to light, noise. Tendency of fainting from pain (not there in PULS). Soreness of body on the side lain on (PULS has > on lying on painful side). NUX MOSCHATA will help in such a patient.

This above description is just a scenario to make one remember and differentiate important points. NUX MOSCHATA is much more than the given scenario as can be seen in the symptoms mentioned above.}
